International Journal of Women and Neonates Health is aimed to promote science among medical investigators worldwide. IJWNH, which benefits from an international editorial board, was published Quarterly from 2021 by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Neonatal, Radiology and Surgery of Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences.
Contents include peer-reviewed research papers covering different aspects of obstetrics and Gynecology and Neonatal. IJWNH follows ICMJE and COPE recommendations for the conduct, reporting, editing and publication of articles.

Peer-review process:
International Journal of Women and neonatal Health utilize double-blind review therfor both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers. After initial screening, all submited manuscript will be refereed to three indipendent reviewers during maximum two weeks according to specific research reporting guidelines for different study designs; include CONSORT for randomized trials, STROBE for observational studies, PRISMA for systematic reviews and meta-analyses. All authors should send their revised manuscripts within 2 weeks.
Ethical cocideration
International Journal of Women’s and neonatal Health is member of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The Journal also follows the COPE’s guidelines for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals issued by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE).

The manuscript must include a cover letter on the first page to the Editor-in-Chief. The cover letter includes the title and author(s) name and undertaking that it has not been published or submitted elsewhere. Also, the title page and manuscript after preparation should be loaded in their locations.

The journal adheres to the conditions stated by the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE). The manuscript should contain the title, abstract, main text, acknowledgment, funding, author’s contribution, references, figures, and tables. The preferred word processing format for the manuscript file is Microsoft Word. Manuscripts should be double-spaced, with 2.5 cm margins on all sides. All abbreviations must be spelled out the first time used, followed by the abbreviated form in parentheses.Three to five key words in the end of the abstract is needed fo all manuscript that should be identical to the medical subject headings (MeSH) in the Index Medicus of the National Library of Medicine.
Observational Studies (Original Articles)
Cohort, case control, and cross-sectional studies should be arranged based on Strengthening the Reporting of Observational studies in Epidemiology STROBE statement and checklist as: Abstract, Keywords, Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgements, References, Tables, and Figures. abstract should not exceed 350 words. The main text should not exceed 4500 words.
Clinical Trials
The format is similar to original articles.Randomized controlled trial researcch papers, should utlize the CONSORT guidelines provided by the Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials group. RCTs should be registered at any RCT Registry approved by the WHO (www.irct.ir) and their registration number should be mentioned in the title page. As an option, the Iranian Registry of Clinical Trials (IRCT) is a registry suggested by WHO.
Letters to the Editor
The Letter to the Editor for IJWNH Clinical Reports should start with "To the Editor", and contain the standard of a article, but abstract is not necessary. Words can be maximum of 600.
Case Reports
Case reports should be arranged as follows: Abstract: background, case report, conclusion, up to 200 words, Main text: Introduction, Case Report, Discussion, References, and 1 to 4 Figures. Up to 2000 words.
Review Articles and Systematic Review Articles
Review articles should be composed of systematic critical assessments of literature and data sources pertaining to clinical topics such as cause, diagnosis, prognosis, therapy, or prevention. All papers should include information about the specific types of study or analysis, population, intervention, exposure, and tests or outcomes. Systematic reviews and meta-analyses on clinical trials and observational studies should be prepared based on Preferred Reporting Items of Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) and Meta-analysis of observational studies in epidemiology (MOOSE). The number of words can be a maximum of 5000 words
Conflict of Interest
A conflict of interest can occur when researcher have a financial, commercial, legal, or professional relationship with other organizations, or with the people working with them, that could influence on research. Authors are expected to disclose any commercial associations or sources of support that might pose a conflict of interest in connection with the submitted paper.
Authorship
IJWNH Based on the ICJME recommendations all authors should meet all four criteria for authorship, and all who meet the four criteria should be identified as authors.
References:
References should be based on Vancouver style.
Figures and tables:
Figures and tables should limit to 3 and their information should not be duplicated in the text. And should be prepared on separate pages. Tables, as well as illustrations, should be illustrated at the end of the manuscript after the references. Tables should be designed in word file. The figures should be sent in a format of JPEG or GIF with a high resolution.
