Visual Practice (VP) category launched: Medical illustrations with educational purposes, infographic-based learning, layout training, graphical abstracts. Virtual Practice modules introduced: simulation-based peer review, remote editorial collaboration, asynchronous training. Content aligned with SBMU curriculum.

Rebranding to SRTM: Strategic Shift (CAP)
SMSJournal rebranded as Student Research in Translational Medicine (SRTM). Focus expanded to translational science and global standards. Editorial board diversified; digital migration to sbmu.ac.ir.

Global Visibility & Workflow Automation
SRTM indexed in Google Scholar with improved citation tracking. Integrated automation for editorial triggers (Telegram alerts, DOI assignment). Preparing for indexing application in most relevant abstracting and indexing databases.
