Publication Ethics
The publication of an article in Iranian Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IJPS) is required to follow the ethical principles of scientific works. Ethics in science is a direct reflection of the quality of the work of the authors and the institutions that support them. It is therefore important to agree upon standards of expected ethical behavior for all parties involved in the act of publishing.
Author(s) responsibility
It is requested that the authors respect the following rules :
The submitted manuscript must be the author(s) own original work.
The manuscript has neither been published elsewhere nor is under review elsewhere.
Authors should present their works in accordance with templates.
Authors whose names appear on the submission have contributed sufficiently to the scientific work and therefore share collective responsibility and accountability for the results.
The transformation of the style of the article for a commercial purpose is not allowed.
Plagiarism is absolutely forbidden.
The contributions of the authors must be in accordance with integrity and ethics.
Authors are strongly advised to ensure the correct author group, corresponding author, and order of authors at submission. The order-alteration of the authors is not permitted after the acceptance of a manuscript.
Adding and/or deleting authors and/or changing the order of authors at the revision stage may be justifiably warranted. A letter must accompany the revised manuscript to explain the reason for the change(s) and the contribution role(s) of the added and/or deleted author(s). Further documentation may be required to support your request.
Requests for addition or removal of authors as a result of authorship disputes after acceptance are honored after formal notification by the institute or independent body and/or when there is an agreement between all authors.
Authors have the responsibility for any error or fallaciousness of the manuscript. In this case, they should inform the journal's authorities, instantly.
Possible financial support must be signaled.
Ethics in Animal and Clinical Investigations
Investigation using experimental animals must contain a statement confirming the adherence of the research to the Principles of Laboratory Animal Care (NIH publication #85−23, revised in 1985). Investigation involving human subjects should be in accordance with the Helsinki Declaration of 1975 (revised in 2008) and be approved by the institutional ethics committee or equivalent; and this should be stated in the manuscript. In addition, authors should send a notary verified letter or registered codes of ethics for the particular work presented in the manuscript from the Ethics Committee or the Institutional Review Board.
